THE EARLY YEARS

I lived in Gainesville, Pampa, Borger, Valley View, Era, Perryton, Texas, and in Enid, Oklahoma, before moving to Big Lake in 1965. I spent the 1st grade (1960 - 61) at Robert E. Lee Elementary in Gainesville. The 2nd grade (1961 - 62) was in Era and Valley View. The first half of the 3rd grade was in Valley View and back to Gainesville to finish.
