It appears to be mostly hand-pieced. It was handquilted 1/4". The binding was attached by machine. |
| Purpose |
In the mid-80's, I expressed a desire to learn to quilt but feared the tedium of piecing. My mother-in-law gave me the top to quilt. I do not know the origins of the mostly polyester scraps used for piecing. |
| Errata |
Bob: "Funny how some of the color schemes you grew up with in the '60's tend to make you dizzy in the '90's. Despite the colors, this is a very warm quilt. This is the first one Sharon completely quilted. She thought that she would never finish. It has been adopted (abducted?) by our daughter." |
