| Purpose |
This quilt was created to commemorate my husband's retirement from the U.S. Navy after 24 years. The dragon in the center is the symbol for CTMs (Cryptologic Technician Maintenance). The blocks around the center show every base he was stationed at. The blocks at the bottom show all of his ranks. Various devices are attached including his ribbons and the medal he received at his retirement. |

Bob: "No other gift could tell me how much Sharon loves me. The care in the design, stitching and quilting is obvious. In each of the duty station blocks, Sharon added something special about that tour for me. A remarkable design and a one-of-a-kind quilt." |
