Purpose Construct any type of a quilt project from an ugly fabric given by raffle. The ugly fabric includes the catus, men, horse, and mountains in this quilt. This quilt won FIRST place in the Colonial Quilter's Ugly Fabric Challenge contest November 16, 1996.
Errata Bob: "Sharon came home from a quilt meeting one day and said, with some trepidation, that she had decided to enter their Ugly Fabric competition. She had some of this fug-ugly material and had to decide what to do with it. Of course, she came up with a very creative wall hanging which has many 3-D effects. The sun is all puffed out and the stippling in the desert really made it stand out. Her use of the chili pepper fabric really enhanced the overall effect as did the use of the coyotes (which she designed herself). I was very happy and proud when she brought home the First prize of this quilt, especially since she had only been quilting for a couple of months and it was an award of her peers (some very talented quilters themselves). I still have this hanging on the wall in our hallway."
